I was recently contacted by SleekLens, a Danish company that focuses on Lightroom and Photoshop processing tools (they also offer Retouching Services as well as Online Courses).
I was recently contacted by I was sent the “Portrait Perfection Collection” action bundle to test out and review (it’s available for $39). The set includes 56 actions (compatible with Adobe CC, CS2-CS6 and Elements 11-14). I had fun trying out the different bases, all-in-ones, tone enhancers and other tools in the set.
My favorite “All-in-One” was Grundge (and what a fun word that is) – though I didn’t like that you couldn’t adjust the individuals layers of those actions, it was all flattened out into one layer. I expect I’ll use the bases, tones and other enhancements and retouching tools more in the future.
I found Sleeklens Actions to be easy to work with and understand, and I could see myself using some of these actions in my everyday portrait workflow. You can see some of the variety offered in the photo slideshow above.
