Exploring the Downtown Central Library
This Class of 2023 Senior Photo Session included a family add-on. So, we switched between individual photos, family pairings and the whole group as we explored the downtown Austin Central Library and surrounding Seaholm area.
My favorite spots we shot in include the Children’s Reading Porch, the two-story colorful Susan Scafati artwork in the windows, and the Library rooftop garden. If you’re interested in having your own portrait session at the Austin Central Library, there is a small location fee.
I also love the Power Picket, by artists Nader Tehrani and Dan Gallagher outside with all the colorful green, blue, orange and gray columns.
Please check out some of my favorite images from this portrait session below and contact me if you’d like to book your own photo session.
1. What prompted you to have this photo session? The need for senior photos and new family photos.
2. How did you choose your location for your session? Our family loves the library so the beautiful downtown Austin library location seemed like a perfect location.
3. What advice would you give to others planning a similar photo session? Be thinking of ways to make your kids laugh or smile. Otherwise, Stephanie provided so many tips and tricks that we felt very prepared.
4. Anything else you’d like to add? Stephanie did a great wrangling our family to do the photo shoot in a variety of different locations and fun photo positions. We had natural green-space backgrounds as well as urban. The whole experience was so much fun! I am really blessed that Stephanie captured this valuable time in my family’s lives.
