Seaholm District – High School Senior Photos

Downtown Photo Session in the Seaholm Area | Austin Senior Photographer

This Class of 2025 McCallum High School Senior picked the Seaholm District for his photo session location.

For his portrait session, we met at the Seaholm Plaza by Trader Joe’s and walked around downtown near the Central Library.

If you live in Austin and are also interested in having your Senior Photo Session in this part of town, check out my tips below.

Tips for High School Senior Photo Sessions in the Seaholm District in Downtown Austin:

• PARKING: Garage parking is available at the Central Library or Trader Joes nearby (and if you shop at Trader Joes afterwards, they validate parking)
• LOCATIONS: There’s a great variety of urban and nature backgrounds in a few block radius. Make sure you take advantage of all the different backdrops available.
• TRAFFIC: This area is very popular, so expect other photo shoots to be happening at the same time and take your turn in front of popular spots. You will also have literal car traffic going across the Butterfly Bridge, so be careful when photographing there. Have a parent be a spotter for oncoming cars.
• OUTFIT CHANGES: If the Central Library is open, you can use their restroom for outfit changes during your session.
