What to Wear – Senior Photo Sessions

Need help figuring out What to Wear for your Senior Photo Session?

You’ve booked your photo session and chosen your location. The next step is to figure out what you want to wear to your Senior Photo Session. Here are some easy steps to take:

Pick your colors

Discover your best color palette

I like to use the Dressika app or visit the Colorwise website to upload a selfie and see which are my best colors. There are also lots of paid versions or consultants you can hire.

You can also use your color palette to help pick makeup in complementary colors.

Made a mood board

Create a Pinterest board of outfits

You can use Pinterest like a search engine. Type in what you’re looking for:

ex. Fall outfits for High School Senior Photos *

Then you can shop directly from the site or just use it for outfit inspiration.

* Keep in mind what season your photo session will fall into.

Shop your Closet

Go through your closet

Once you have a sense of what colors look best on you and what outfit combinations you like, check your own closet first to start building your Senior Photo Session wardrobe.

And if that doesn’t work, then go shopping.

All Stephanie Friedman Senior Photo Sessions include three outfits. I recommend something casual, something dressy and something that represents your high school interests (like a sports uniform or dance costume).

Travel accessories to make their flight home more comfortable
Local gift cards to restaurants and stores to use when they visit home
Homemade treats such as chocolate chip cookies

The best part about sending a care package is that it shows your college student you’re thinking of them, even from afar. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive; the key is to fill it with personalized items that cater to their unique tastes and needs.

With these ideas, you can create a care package that’s both practical and heartwarming—a perfect pick-me-up for any college student this Fall!

This Session is for Austin families who want a creative and comfortable photo shoot that fits their busy schedule and fun-loving personalities. For $500 plus tax, you’ll receive:

One hour photo shoot on location in the Austin area
All edited digital hi-res images in an online gallery (minimum 50 images) two weeks after your session date
Weekend and Weeknight calendar options
Posing guidance throughout your session
What to Wear, What to Bring and What to Expect comminucation before your session date

This session fee does not include products. You can purchase prints and albums separately from your gallery directly. There is no minimum purchase required.

Up to 3 outfit changes

Option to add-on a family mini-session at the end for an additional fee
