Seaholm District & Butterfly Bridge – Senior Photo Session

Seaholm District & Butterfly Bridge – Senior Photo Session

This Class of 2021 McCallum Senior picked the Seaholm area for her portrait session. One of my favorite parts was seeing other Senior photo shoots going on at the same time and having the girls shout to each other across the Butterfly Bridge: “You look amazing!

Long Center – Senior Photo Session

Long Center – Senior Photo Session

Senior Photo Session at the Long Center

The Long Center is one of my favorite spots to shoot at for a Senior Session – there’s such a great variety of backgrounds and architectural details to play with. (Just double check they aren’t having any events that day!) And I really love it when the Senior doesn’t mind climbing up on walls (safely, of course) on the top floor of their parking garage as well.

1. How did you choose your location for your session? We went with somewhere we thought would have cool, urban backgrounds. We also considered South Congress, but it is too crowded.

2. What advice would you give to other Seniors planning a photo session? Wear what makes you feel comfortable and have fun with it (which is easy with Stephanie).

Please check out some of my favorite images from this McCallum Senior’s portrait session below and contact me if you’d like to book your own photo session.

Northwest and Balcones Park – Bluebonnet Photo Session

Scouting Bluebonnets at Northwest Park and Balcones District Park

What do you do when the bluebonnets are only starting to come out, but you’re also only in town for a few days? We work with the blooms that are there for your Spring Portrait Session. Some of these photos are from Balcones District Park and some are from Northwest Park – and hopefully in a few weeks – the flowers will be even more wild spread.

Please enjoy some favorites from this bluebonnet wildflower session below.

Red Bud Isle – Spring Family Photo Session

Red Bud Isle – Spring Family Photo Session

Big thanks to this family for being so flexible with their Spring photo session location. Originally we were going to meet at the Sweet Berry Farm while the tulips were in bloom. Well – when the tulip season ended early, we had to choose a backup spot. We decided on Red Bud Isle – but knowing how crowded it gets there closer to sunset (if you know, you know) – they were willing to meet me closer to sunrise instead. Bonus: we had the park pretty much to ourselves.

Adoption Day – Family Photo Session

Adoption Day – Family Photo Session

Even though Winter storm Uri pushed back this family’s adoption date – I was happy to be there for their rescheduling. First, we took some photos at home and then we headed over to their son’s favorite nearby park. What a happy milestone to document!
