Frequently Asked

+ What goes into a Business Branding Photo Session?

It starts with a free creative consultation call where we go through my Client Questionnaire. Based on your answers we’ll create a shot list with corresponding locations, wardrobe, props and other details.

+ Where should my session take place?

There are a variety of locations in Austin we can use (including indoor studio rental space) depending on your type of work if you don’t already have an established workspace.

+ Do you provide Hair & Make-up?

No, but I can provide a list of my preferred hair and makeup artists in the Austin, Texas area.

+ I'm not comfortable in front of the camera, how can you help?

I totally understand, and my job is create a relaxing and stress-free environment during your photo shoot. I have a series of poses and prompts I’ll demonstrate and lead you through.  

+ What type of retouching do you do?

I like to keep things light and natural when it comes to retouching. If something isn’t meant to be there (example: acne) – I’ll remove it. Otherwise, I want you to look like you.

+ What should I wear to my branding photo session?

1 – an outfit that symbolizes what you do (think apron for a chef, athletic wear for a yoga instructor, white coat for a doctor)

2 – your headshot outfit – business casual

3 – an outfit that reflects your brands personality (bold and colorful, calming and neutral, sporty and casual, etc.) – also see my BLOG POST

+ What if I want to book a mini-headshot photo session?

I schedule mini-headshot photo sessions throughout the year.

  • They are 15-20 minutes long, you can wear 1-2 outfits, you’ll receive a minimum of 5 edited images. The cost is $200 plus tax.

We decide on your location, what to wear, what to bring and any other details before your session.

Session Date

We meet, and I’ll take care of all the posing directions to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Delivery

You receive a link to an online gallery to download all your hi-res files two weeks after your session date.

Share and Print

Share your photos online and order print products of your images.
