It’s been a fun Fall so far. I wanted to share some photos from nearby adventures we’ve taken. First is from a play day at the Mueller Park. Another weekend we drove to San Antonio to visit family and check out the DoSeum. We’ve also made multiple trips to check out Fortlandia at the Wildflower Center in South Austin. And finally, last weekend, we visited the pumpkin patch at Barton Hills Farm in Bastrop, TX. I highly recommend ALL of these spots.

Took Max & Miles location scouting at Northwest Park to check out their back field of wildflowers this weekend. The boys enjoyed running over the metal bridge, checking out all the different colors and types of flowers back there (and were open to being bribed when I requested they sit still for a few pics as well). 😉

If you have kids, add Sweet Eats Fruit Farm to your “places to visit” list. And if you’re a photographer who lives near Georgetown, TX – add it to your “Spring Locations” list. Besides blossoms and blossoms of pink flowers in their peach orchard (for the photographer in you), you can also visit a petting zoo, jumping pad, hay maze, zip line, climbing wall, tire swing, giant mound of dirt to dig in (for the kid in you) – and this is all besides the seasonal “pick your own” strawberries, nectarines and peaches (and pumpkins in the fall).
We spent a good two hours one weekend morning alternating between raking then playing in the leaves. Then the boys wanted to climb into the leaf bags as nests. I hope yard work brings you as much joy 🙂

Took the boys location scouting at the new Downtown Central Public Library. Between the Butterfly Bridge, the new sculptures and the beautiful landscaping outside – it’s a great location for pictures – and then you go inside – swoon – stairs upon stairs upon stairs – a beautiful reading porch, a rooftop terrace, and lots of stylish places to sit.
