Woods & Family were a treat to photograph – we climbed all around Butler Park last weekend. Woods kept us entertained between wanting to swing on willow tree vines like Spiderman – then keeping an eye out for alligators in the pond (phew – I think we’re safe). Then we ended the session with him showing us his soccer moves HERE.

I’ve been photographing the Logue Family for the pastfewyears. (pause for: look how much the kids have grown!) Though this is the first time the weather cooporated and was below 90 degrees for our session (hooray!)
We headed out to Mill Pond for a nice walk around the water with stops at the dock, foot bridge and open field. Aidan brought his soccer ball to kick around, Scarlett made sure we got all the family combinations we wanted, and Lyla gave me my favorite outtake (HERE).

Just some photos of my guys from early this morning. I’d rented a new lens from Precision Camera and was seeing how I liked it. Luckily these test subjects are good sports.
You may remember this sweet family from last year. Warmer temperatures this time around. This year we embraced the hot summer weather and ended our family photo session in the fountain (photographer included). Putting the “wet” in “Wettermark.” Ben was a cute, cuddly sweetheart, who pointed out every trash can in the park (useful info). And Jessika and Alfred were game to splash around as well (favorite outtake HERE).

A friend and old co-worker recommended we check out Mill Pond in Wells Branch. After following Max around the trails and on and off the docks, I was sold. Lots of room for toddler-types to run about, a nice variety of backgrounds for photos (trees! water! rocks!) and not crowded either. I hope to be back there a lot this Fall.
