Miles and I went to the Brushy Creek Community Gardens to see how the flowers were fairing after the Fall rain. I have a family session booked there later this month – and was happy to see it in such good shape.
Between the windmill, the multiple koi ponds and fallen flower petals, Miles had fun running from spot to spot.

It’s always fun to hang out and take pictures of Woods & Family. I especially like documenting the gallery of facial expressions he can produce 🙂
We went to Old Settlers Association in Round Rock, TX. In between kicking the soccer ball around, we played hug attack, sang jingle bells and admired the old tractors. I’m happy to share their sweet family moments.

We took the boys back to one of our favorite spots, Twin Lakes Park, so Miles could gather items for his Nature Scavenger Hunt for school. We looked for animals tracks & birds nests, gathered fall leaves and kept track of our treasures to take home.
And on the way out, a nice family shared their bread so we could take turns feeding the many ducks & geese in the pond.
With all the wide open spaces at the Barton Hills Pumpkin Patch to explore, we had a great family session. We checked out the corn maze, went down by the water and ended the morning as pumpkin heads (here). Larke was a ray of sunshine running from spot to spot until we hit upon the sandbox boat where she was content to stay, dig and play.
