The Logue Family – Holiday Portrait Session

I’ve been photographing the Logue Family for the past few years. (pause for: look how much the kids have grown!) Though this is the first time the weather cooporated and was below 90 degrees for our session (hooray!)

We headed out to Mill Pond for a nice walk around the water with stops at the dock, foot bridge and open field. Aidan brought his soccer ball to kick around, Scarlett made sure we got all the family combinations we wanted, and Lyla gave me my favorite outtake (HERE).

Max at Mill Pond

Max at Mill Pond

A friend and old co-worker recommended we check out Mill Pond in Wells Branch. After following Max around the trails and on and off the docks, I was sold. Lots of room for toddler-types to run about, a nice variety of backgrounds for photos (trees! water! rocks!) and not crowded either. I hope to be back there a lot this Fall.
